United Mutual International (UMI) is a global trade empowerment platform dedicated to connecting young entrepreneurs between China and Africa.
Founded in Guangzhou, UMI bridges education, supply chain, and entrepreneurship to help youth turn ideas into sustainable international businesses.
We believe that real trade creates real growth. Through training, certified suppliers, and cross-border solutions, UMI provides the tools, mentorship, and resources for African students and young entrepreneurs to thrive in the global marketplace.
Our mission: To build a new generation of cross-border leaders under the Belt and Road initiative, empowering Africa through trade, innovation, and collaboration.

2018

Origin: Embracing new opportunities in China-Africa cooperation, the UMI concept was proposed and a business plan was completed.

2019

Pilot Launch: Launched Level 1/Level 2 pilot courses and completed small-batch trial orders for the first batch of students.

2020

Digital Transformation: The pandemic drove online learning and remote factory inspections, and short video monetization became a new path.

2021

Systematization: Established whitelisted factories and compliance processes, and produced the first version of the supply chain directory.

2022

Regional Expansion: Leveraged regional trade and policy environments (such as RCEP) to optimize supply chain collaboration.

2023

Localization: Established alumni chapters and national representatives in several African countries, integrating into the mobile payment ecosystem.

2024

Completed Qualifications: Completed company registration, import and export licenses, ICP filing, and software copyright registration (key points for official website endorsement).

2025

Consolidation and replication: Form a replicable closed loop of “training → supply → monetization → alumni partnership” and begin replicating it in more countries.
